Guiding Leaders Toward What Matters Most

Hi, I’m Katie

I’m a coach, advisor, and nature nerd who believes leadership is less about titles and more about how we show up for what matters.

My early years were shaped by a deep connection to land and learning — summers spent on my nana’s orchard, wandering the woods, and paying attention to the world around me. That curiosity never left. It shaped how I see business ecosystems, how I build relationships, and how I guide others through complexity.

My career path wasn’t linear and I’m glad for it. I’ve worked in auto body shops, rare bookstores, publishing, outdoor education, nonprofits, hospitality, and tech partnerships. What ties it all together? A belief that people skills are business skills and that understanding humans is the real competitive advantage.

Today, I help leaders and organizations navigate change, build stronger partnerships, and lead with intention. Whether I’m untangling a $150M business unit, helping a nonprofit raise a third of their annual budget, or coaching a leader into their next chapter — my approach stays the same: ask better questions, look at the whole system, and create a path that’s entirely your own.

I live in New Jersey with my husband Nigel and our cat, Pesto. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking, reading books about leadership and the natural world, or trying to ID birds by their songs. I also enjoy nature photography and all nature photos on this site are my own.
